Episcopal High School is seeking a full-time Registrar responsible for maintaining, updating, and distributing all academic records for the school, including schedules, policies, grades, transcripts, and standardized test scores. The position reports to the Assistant Head for Academics and oversees the Registrar’s office assistant/test coordinator. The registrar’s role includes maintaining an up-to-date course catalog, managing the course registration process for new and returning students, and creating course schedules for teachers and students before the beginning of the school year. The registrar coordinates course changes and facilitates the collection and distribution of grades and comments on a quarterly basis and tracks student progress towards graduation requirements. The ability to organize and maintain the student records is essential, as is the ability to plan for and meet fixed deadlines.
Other duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, managing Blackbaud, the EHS student information system; overseeing standardized testing on campus, along with test coordinator; working with Assistant Head for Student Life to track re-enrollment for current students; answering calls and emails from parents about student courses and student records; generating reports related to all student records and data; and performing other duties requested by the Assistant Head for Academics.
Summary of Qualifications:
- Four-year college degree or equivalent college level coursework and/or experience
- Five years of experience in working with high school or college students
- Strong math and computer skills including proficiency in Excel and Google Suite
- Experience in working with and managing a database
- Strong written, verbal, organizational, listening, and interpersonal skills
