This is a full time salaried on site position for an Occupational Health Registered Nurse in the dynamic employee health clinic of a large production and research site. Work hours are Monday-Friday 8 am to 4:30 pm. However, the RN may need to work with the team to cover sick calls and coverage of the clinic during site emergencies as situations arise (such as weather emergencies).

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Management of occupational and non-occupational illnesses and injuries: triage and assessment of the required level of care, rendering the appropriate care, including the management of medical emergencies

• Case management of work-related injuries

• Assessment and management of employees returning to work from absences

• Wellness activities including flu vaccination clinics and other company sponsored events

• Execution of medical surveillance programs, which may include the assessment of questionnaires, the administration of vaccinations, drawing blood for lab-work, physical examination, audiometry, spirometry etc.

• Documentation of all activities in the electronic medical record

A strong focus on teamwork and excellent communication skills are required as the successful candidate must be able to interact with colleagues in the clinic but also with employees at all levels in the organization.

Required qualifications:

• Must have an active PA license in good standing.

• Minimum 5 years of current related clinical experience.

• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office products and electronic medical records.

• Occupational Health experience – to include workers compensation case management desirable.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in emergency care

• BSN preferred
