Position Summary:
In July 2020, the Program in Public Health expanded from one department, Department of Population and Public Health, to include the Department of Epidemiology and Biostatistics, Department of Environmental and Occupational Health, and the Department of Health, Society and Behavior. The Program is currently transitioning to school status, and house a large undergraduate public health program, master's and doctoral degrees.
Executive Assistant will be responsible for ensuring that administrative processes and office operations run smoothly in the school's Dean's office. This position will serve as the primary liaison between Dean's office and executive leadership, managing the Dean's complex schedule. Position will be responsible in demonstrating good judgment and managing sensitive and critical situations.
Compensation Range:
$53,500 - $78,600

Bachelor's degree in related area and / or equivalent experience / training.
Ability to multi-task with demanding timeframes. Solid skills in problem identification. Familiarity with the organization's processes, protocols and procedures. Thorough knowledge of common organization-specific and other computer application programs. Political acumen and sensitivities to the differing perspectives and political circumstances within all levels of the organization as well as the Office of the President and external constituencies. Solid analytical / problem-solving skills. Strong skills to communicate effectively with all levels of staff, faculty, alumni / donors, students and external constituencies, both verbally and in writing. Ability to use high-level discretion and maintain a high level of confidentiality.
Preferred:
Advising and counseling skills. Strong service orientation. Knowledge of federal regulations such as FERPA.
