Shift: Mon-Wed-Fri 7:30 till 4:30 Tues-Thu 8:00 till 5:00

The role you’ll contribute:
The LPN, under general supervision, provides appropriate care to patients as well as follows AdventHealth service standards. This includes safely and effectively greeting patients, obtaining clinical information, financial and demographic information. Responsible for assisting providers during treatment and examination and may assist with procedures and medication administration as ordered by the provider. Performs office duties as needed, which includes but is not limited to, verifying insurance, collecting copays, and scheduling necessary appointments

Assist with screenings per physician orders
Enters all information accurately into EMR at the time of service, including test results upon receipt
Performs clinical intake according to current ADVENT policy and procedures
Responsible for assisting provider with minor procedures
Upon request, travel to off-site location for health event screenings
Follows safety processes and policies to ensure appropriate care is given
Responds appropriately to emergency situations and documents care delivered and interventions
Maintains clean, safe, organized work environment
Follows Infection Control policy guidelines and standard precautions including proper hand hygiene and management of and disposal of hazardous waste materials
Provides and ensures patients receive whole care in all aspects of an office visit, regarding intake, test results, screenings, labs, medication administration, closure of care gaps and all aspects necessary following ADVENT policies.
The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:
High School Diploma or GED, Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program
BLS Certification at employment or within one month of employment.
