The Department of Otolaryngology is looking for a Nurse Practitioner who is dedicated and passionate about aesthetics. The NP will work with the Facial Plastics division to perform skin rejuvenation treatments/lasers such as Photofacials (IPL), Laser Hair Removal, Microneedling, Microneedling RF, peels, etc. Will Collaborate with Medical Director, as needed, regarding patient treatment plans. Establish and maintain rapport with clients in order to ensure overall customer service satisfaction of clients. Candidate must have excellent consultative sales and negotiation skills.
Specific Duties & Responsibilities:
Administer all laser treatments and microneedling treatments
Administer injectables for Botox, Dysport and Derma Fillers
Administer wellness IV's for patients (proper licenses and experience needed)
Educate patients on aesthetic services such as laser skin rejuvenation and injectable services
Occasionally assist physicians with injections and other procedures as necessary
Comply with practice policies and protocols at all times
Apply knowledge of sterile techniques, OSHA regulations, and HIPAA protocols
Review each patient's records pre and post-treatment
Provide excellent service and patient care
Providing education to patients about their condition, treatment options, and follow up care
Administers treatments in accordance with HEIC policies and procedures
Collaborate with the Aestheticians to educate patients on products to enhance their procedures
Clean and perform minor maintenance on laser to ensure proper functionality
Collaborate with Nurse Lead and Medical Director, as needed, regarding patient treatment plans
Evaluate client's suitability for all available services/treatments and perform treatments that same day
Sustain proficiency through continuous education and trainings
Annotate and post appropriate information and maintain accurate client treatment records/data in the client's medical chart
Pursue opportunities to educate clients on additional services
Educate clients on all treatment processes including pre and post-treatment care guidelines
Perform maintenance checks on lasers to ensure systems are operating appropriately
Maintain cleanliness and appearance of treatment rooms between each client
Collaborate with sales and ops teams to achieve company goals
Perform all laser hair removal treatments within established treatment protocols
Provide a friendly and comfortable environment by delivering world class patient care
Record clear and accurate medical documentation in patients EMR on a tablet device
Position is to help with overflow of laser hair removal patients.
Travel between clinics, as necessary
Minimum Qualifications (Mandatory):
Master's Degree in Nursing
Current state licensure as a, NP or PA in Maryland, must be in good standing
Current American Heart Association or American Red Cross CPR certification required. Must maintain current licensure and certification during duration of employment. Completion of the JHH Greenspring credentialing process is required prior to start date.
Additional experience may substitute for master's degree, as permitted by the JHU equivalency formula:
JHU Equivalency Formula: 30 undergraduate degree credits (semester hours) or 18 graduate degree credits may substitute for one year of experience. Additional related experience may substitute for required education on the same basis. For jobs where equivalency is permitted, up to two years of non-related college course work may be applied towards the total minimum education/experience required for the respective job.

Preferred Qualifications:
Five years of experience in Aesthetics, Dermatology, and/or Plastic Surgery.
Bilingual is a plus
1-year experience as a Nurse Injector/Aesthetic Nurse
Experience with toxin and derma fillers

Candidate must have excellent consultative sales and negotiation skills
Proven success in a full commission and/or quota driven environment
Strong communication, high attention to detail and rapport building skills
Self-motivation, drive, initiative and outgoing and confident sales approach
Experience using a contact tracking system, Salesforce.com preferred
Proficient with computers and software applications (MS Office Suite, Salesforce etc.)
Experience with EMR software
Warm and welcoming bedside manner
Exceptional teamwork skills
Maintains professional appearance and demeanor at all times
Physical Requirements:
Sitting, standing and walking for extended period. Reaching by extending hand(s) or arm(s) in any direction. Finger dexterity required to manipulate objects with fingers rather than with whole hand(s) or arm(s). Ability to move standard equipment through a hospital or clinical environment
