Position Summary:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Conducts research in cancer care and prevention in sub-Saharan Africa
Directs and advises the work of trainees and faculty colleagues in cancer care and prevention
Participates in the development and delivery of curricula and training that will advance cancer care and prevention in sub-Saharan Africa
Is a strong advocate for populations in LMICs
Understands and adheres to legacy UMDNJ's compliance standards as they appear in legacy UMDNJ's Corporate Compliance Policy and Code of Conduct and Conflict of Interest Policy
Minimum Education and Experience:
Candidates for Assistant Professor should have strong research potential (as demonstrated by relevant publications and funding potential).
Candidates for Associate Professor should have a strong track record of research publication, and funding.
Candidates for Full Professor position should have a track record of research, publication, and funding that distinguishes them, nationally or internationally, as leaders in cancer care and prevention. Interested applicants should have a MD or PhD degree and relevant postdoctoral training with an exceptional publication record. Applicants should have a track record in working with populations in LMICs.

Experience leading, supervising and/or working with multidisciplinary research teams
Demonstrated teaching excellence
Experience designing and developing online population health coursework
