The Cyclotron Engineer will be responsible for the routine operation of the General Electric (GE) PET Cyclotron in the UCSF Radiopharmaceutical Facility in a manner necessary for the bulk production of radiopharmaceuticals according to internal customer needs. The engineer must not only have the ability to work alone with minimal supervision and be a self-motivated individual with excellent troubleshooting skills, but must also participate and perform effectively in a team environment and interact with multiple departments. Routine operation is scheduled start-ups, and shutdowns of cyclotron machinery and its associated systems.
