The Center for Infectious Disease and Nursing Innovation (CIDNI) is a community-focused center within The Johns Hopkins University School of Nursing. The Infectious Disease Educational Coordinator (Program Coordinator) will work within CIDNI to coordinate all of the educational programming. This position will also develop and promote social media for the center in an effort to broaden our educational reach. This position will support the educational mission of the center across multiple grants, contracts and academic courses. This will include supporting the JHU AIDS Education and Training Center, in coordinating educational training programs for healthcare providers, federally qualified health centers, Ryan White Clinics, MAT Centers throughout the State of Maryland. Under the supervision of the Center Manager, the Infectious Disease Educational Coordinator will assist in unifying the educational portfolio of the Center.
Specific Duties & Responsibilities
Develops topics/ideas and suggested speakers for monthly webinar series for Director and Center Manager.
Develop advertisements for educational events and actively engage the target audience in registration through outreach, social media, email, and community events.
Coordinate the Center's annual State of the Science in HIV Course.
Attend Center functions to support the Center events and promote on social media.
Create evidence-based science content on the center's social media platforms.
Assists Regional Coordinator with planning HIV education and training programs within the AETC by conducting required needs assessments.
Assist with developing training curriculum and evaluation of trainings.
Schedules training events using on-line AETC ZAP systems.
Produce training calendars and appropriate data forms for training programs.
Assist the AETC team with coordination of clinical training activities for health care providers in local and regional areas in Maryland as indicated by guidelines from the HRSA and the PAMA/AETC.
Develop and present HIV training presentations as needed.
Assist with preparation of education and training materials.
Prepares program and participant forms (PIF's) required by grant for faculty and staff trainers.
Triages telephone requests pertaining to clinical consultations, training and educational programs.
Attend meetings as required.
Other duties as assigned and requested by the Director and or CIDNI leadership team.

Excellent organizational and communication skills.
Strong experience with Excel spreadsheets.
Power Point and Microsoft Word.
Social media platforms but not limited to Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and developing social media content.
Technical Qualifications or Specialized Certifications
Ability to train a diverse set of people in HIV, HIV prevention, medication assisted treatment, harm reduction, cultural humility, stigma, etc.
High School Diploma or graduation equivalent.
Five years progressively responsible related experience.
Additional education may substitute for required experience, to the extent permitted by the JHU equivalency formula.
Bachelor or Master's degree in public health
