Directly oversees the day-to-day management of the Student Centers' Facilities and Operations, including oversight of the Information Center and Customer Relations Managers. Embodies and ensures excellence in customer service.
Manages the day-to-day operations of the Student Centers' Facilities and Operations, including oversight of the Information Center and Customer Relations Managers.
Coordinates with UH Facilities and vendors on all Student Center facilities and operations projects.
Responsible for the oversight of memorandums of understanding and support maintenance of work orders, minor projects, capital improvements plans, and renovation and construction.
Provides leadership and guidance to the Information Center and Customer Relations Managers ensuring strategic initiatives are met, which support increased student engagement, learning, and success.
Oversees facility inspections, and equipment replacement budgeting and coordination; monitors the work order process from submission to completion; responsible for all facility building access and key control; maintain the department's equipment and vehicles.
Assists in the budget planning and development; creates and reviews reports and provides solutions; oversees and maintains an inventory of materials and supplies.
Leads the coordination and response to emergencies within the Student Centers in collaboration with the Department of Public Safety, Environmental Health and Safety, Facilities Management, and Disaster Restoration contracted services, including updates to drills for emergency procedures and continuity plans.
Serves on committees representing the Student Centers.
Performs other duties as required.

Bachelors and 5 years experience is standard, however, will also consider more education with less experience and less education with more experience.
Requires a thorough understanding of both theoretical and practical aspects of an analytical, technical or professional discipline; or the basic knowledge of more than one professional discipline. Knowledge of the discipline is normally obtained through a formal, directly job-related 4 year degree from a college or university or an equivalent in-depth specialized training program that is directly related to the type of work being performed.
