DESCRIPTIONThe Chief Operations Officer is responsible for managing the administrative, facilities and research operations for School of Biological Sciences, as well as leading several shared administrative service units (SASU) for 4 academic departments, the Dean's Office, and central administrative unit, in addition to research centers housed within the School. The COO is an executive level business leader with demonstrated expertise in university administration, facilities and space planning, academic personnel and human resources, Environmental Health and Safety, administrative support and events, and procurement/purchasing operations, with the ability to effectively manage resources in a large, complex and growing academic school conducting scientific research and offering
