The Clinic Coordinator coordinates day-to-day operations for the Gastroenterology Clinic. The Coordinator is responsible for coordination with insurance providers for medications, procedures, radiology, laboratories and other diagnostic studies as required. This position will troubleshoot and resolve problems as they arise. Maintains active knowledge of insurance regulations and coordinates routinely with the office of Managed Care at Johns Hopkins Medicine. Will be expected to acquire and demonstrate a working knowledge of gastrointestinal disease, common medications and endoscopic procedures. Utilizes multiple modes of communication including internet portals, faxes, telephone, EPIC, and written submissions to request and obtain prior authorizations for treatment. Maintains working pr
