General Summary:The Department of Surgery is seeking a CO Clinical Scheduling Coordinator to be responsible for centralized surgical scheduling. Ensures all parties involved in the surgical case have the appropriate information (patient, surgeon, MOC, anesthesia, etc). Frequent contact, coordination and communication with the surgeons, nursing, anesthesia, Physician Assistants, Document Coordinators (create charts at JHH), the practice and hospital financial counselors, patent service coordinators and ORMIS staff. Maximizes resources by eliminating gaps in OR schedule; makes recommendations/changes to fully utilize surgical time that will have a significant financial impact on surgical and hospital revenue.
