FLS Technician
Job Description Summary
The FLS Technician is responsible for assisting in the management of building fire alarm and suppression systems in a safe and efficient manner. This position is expected to perform maintenance duties in support of the facility as an individual contributor under the direction of management.

Responsibilities
Maintains building fire alarm system components such as smoke detectors, pull stations, strobes, etc.
Maintains building fire sprinkler system components such as switches, valves & trim rings
Initiates and completes work orders in a timely manner
Supervises and directs vendors who perform FLS repairs and maintenance
Obtains quotes for repairs from vendors, and verifies completion of work.
Performs repairs as directed and as required by management and building/client requirements
Coordinates with Environmental, Health and Safety team to identify and resolve FLS system deficiencies
Perform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned by management
Experience
A minimum of 2 years of directly related experience in the operation, installation and maintenance of building systems with in depth technical understanding and knowledge FLS systems
Associate's Degree or completion of related certified technical/trade school
