NURSE MANAGER, MIT Medical, to be responsible for managing and providing clinical resources for RNs, medical assistants, and eye technicians in the Medical Specialties Unit (Dermatology, OB/GYN, Eye, Occupational Health, and Allergy). Will provide oversight of the implementation of operational, patient care, and other associated clinical activities; report to the associate chief nursing officer and collaborate on practice improvements that ensure the nursing process is operationalized by utilizing standards of care/standards of practice; and review and recommend methodologies and process improvements for nursing practices.
REQUIRED: bachelor's degree in nursing, RN license to practice in Massachusetts; at least five years of experience working as an RN in health care; strategic approach and sound clinical judgment; excellent problem-solving, organizational, computer, interpersonal, diplomacy, and oral and written communication skills; ability to set priorities, coordinate multiple tasks, and meet deadlines; and attention to detail.
