Research Technologist
The Bowman laboratory in the Biophysics Department is looking for a bright and enthusiastic Research Technologist to join our team in studying nucleosomes and chromatin remodeling enzymes. As a research technician, the successful candidate will be trained in biochemical and biophysical techniques for studying the properties and mechanisms of chromatin remodelers. We anticipate that this individual should be able to contribute significantly to ongoing projects and be considered for co-authorship.Specific Duties & ResponsibilitiesThe research technician will recombinantly express and purify histones and chromatin remodeler proteins, assemble and purify nucleosomes, and perform in vitro binding and activity assays.
