UCI Assistant/Associate/Full Professor/ OPEN POOL - Environmental and Occupational Health
The Department of Environmental and Occupational Health at the University of California, Irvine is seeking applicants for a full-time, tenure-track or tenured faculty position at the Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor rank. The department is interested in candidates with a strong research program in environmental and/or occupational health, including but not limited to epidemiology, exposure science, intervention science, climate change and health, and environmental health disparities. We especially encourage applicants with innovative new perspectives and transdisciplinary research approaches, creating opportunities for collaborative research and training within our department, with the other departments in our emerging School of Population and Public Health, with the other schools within the College of Health Sciences (Medicine, Nursing, Pharmaceutical Sciences), or with any of the various research centers at our campus. Successful candidates are expected to establish and maintain an extramurally funded research program, participate in departmental teaching and mentoring for undergraduate and graduate students, and provide professional service to the program, the university, and the community. This is a fully funded position, and 11 month compensation is not reliant on grant funding.
