Johns Hopkins Carey Business School is seeking a bright, energetic and organized professional to join our Executive Education program as Assistant Director Executive Education. The Assistant Director will work with the Senior Director of Executive Education and the Executive Education team to independently manage operational functions for the Office of Executive Education at the Carey Business School. This position has primary responsibility of oversight of programming that produces an income of over $4 million annually. This position manages and analyzes operational practices including revising and adjusting procedures to create maximum efficiency and optimization for a strategic priority of the school. This multi-faceted position will include leadership of academic and faculty operations, the information system management (Salesforce) and the learning management system (Canvas).
Specific Duties & Responsibilities
Program Management (50%)
Support all administrative and operational program functions.
Optimize processes and procedures to promote operational efficiency.
Support in the planning of over 100 open enrollment courses, signature programs, and custom programs per FY and provide end-to-end oversight.
In collaboration with faculty and staff colleagues, develops and maintains course materials for all open enrollment and custom programs.
Oversight of each program's delivery with the expectation that both digital and in-person programs are delivered with consistently high standards of quality.
Coordinate with faculty internal and external to Johns Hopkins along with other University partners.
Enrollment Management for Open Enrollment (40%)
Develop and maintain quality control systems for data integrity, compile data and prepare reports as needed.
Serve as subject matter expert regarding program requirements, advising participants and making additional recommendations as needed.
Responsible for the management and ongoing content maintenance of the learning management system.
Troubleshoot participant technical issues and concerns.
Build workflow procedures and processes for integration of Salesforce and other applications.
Create or redefine best practices and workflow process to support an exceptional learning experience and cross-enterprise collaboration and information sharing.
Administrative (10%)
Supports all administrative functions for the Office of Executive Education.

Ability to exercise administrative judgment and discretion and assume responsibility for consequences and results of actions.
Exercise mature judgment, sensitivity, and diplomacy when dealing with all internal and external constituents.
Experience working with a CRM and LMS system.
Experience working with software applications such as Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, and Outlook) is required.
Exceptional oral and written communications skills, including ability to interact with all levels of employees, participants, executives, and high-level external stakeholders while maintaining professionalism.
Must be able to set and manage multiple priorities and respond quickly to changing needs and goals.
Willing to work with internal and external contacts to coordinate and distribute information necessary to complete tasks involving multiple departments and staff.
Must have the ability to travel both domestically and internationally.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree.
Three years progressively responsible experience in program administration in an academic environment.
Additional education may substitute for required experience and additional experience may substitute for required education to the extent permitted by the JHU equivalency formula.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Salesforce CRM is strongly preferred.
