Summary and Scope of Position: The Chemistry Department seeks a full-time laboratory manager to oversee the safe and efficient operation of teaching and research laboratories within the department. Duties consist of preparing reagents for chemistry lab courses, stocking labs with needed supplies, carrying out chemical and equipment inventories, ordering chemicals and lab supplies, and being present to support students and faculty while lab courses are in session.  In addition, the laboratory manager will be responsible for the development and implementation of safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
