Our Project Management team is looking for a Project Manager III who is responsible for managing the execution of medium to large projects through the full project lifecycle. The PM III reports on the status of projects to the project sponsor/steering committee, manages risks and issues, and ensures good communication within the team and with client stakeholders. Hybrid work options are available, allowing staff to experience all the campus has to offer as well as the benefits of remote work.
The PM III will be part of a team that manages IT projects that support many of the administrative needs of the university, including:
Human Resources, Finance, and Procure to Pay
Research Administration (systems supporting Sponsored Programs and Research Compliance)
Faculty Systems (systems supporting the management of faculty affairs)
Healthcare Applications (systems supporting Student Health Services, Occupational Health and Research Occupational Health)
Position Responsibilities
Plan delivery of projects in close collaboration with clients, and with IS&T staff (Architects, Developers, Engineers, System Administrators, and Service Operations).
Manage project teams and delivery of projects including requirements gathering, solution approach, design, resourcing, project plan, execution, transition to service operations, and project closure.
Proactively manage issues and risks, as well as project resources, budget and schedule.
Communicate status of projects and future project plans to stakeholders including faculty, project sponsors, IS&T management, and IS&T governance committees.
Responsibilities may occasionally include business analysis work to manage requirements gathering within projects.

Required Skills
Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
5-8 years of experience
