Research Technologist
We are seeking a Research Technologist who will perform a variety of both molecular and genetics experiments studying natural variation in the nematode Caenorhabditis elegans. The primary duties and responsibilities of the employee will include contributing to existing projects with the possibility of working on an independent project, performing transgenesis and genome editing, contributing to general lab maintenance, preparing stock solutions, buffers, and media, generating recombinant DNA constructs, managing supplies, ordering consumables, and upholding safety regulations.Specific Duties & ResponsibilitiesIndependent research: The technologist will conduct his/her own independent research project and also collaborate
