The Waste Collection Operations Supervisor will manage the daily performance and operations of the Waste Collection Division. Ensures the Division is operating efficiently, and projects are completed according to priority within budgetary constraints. Incumbent is responsible for projecting material, equipment and personnel needs; projects budgetary needs for future and assists in developing capital improvement projects. Schedules all waste collection projects; develops plans for bulk waste removal, alley cleaning, recycling, automated system, neighborhood cleanups, special events, container program, and semi-automated route pickups. Develops and implements training programs for personnel to improve equipment operation skills, waste collection technology, and collection methods.
