Reporting to the Director of Biosafety, the Associate Biosafety Officer maintains the integrity of the DFCI Biosafety and Import/Export Controls Compliance Programs, the biological research program, and the pharmacy USP797 sterile compounding program. This includes being the administrator for the Institutional Biosafety Committee (IBC), the overall Biosafety and Biosecurity Program, and working with the IACUC, the Bloodborne Pathogen Committee, the Infection Control Committee, the DFCI Safety Committee, the Environment of Care Committee, and various departments in Facilities.
