Job Duties: Ensure the smooth and efficient day-to-day functioning of research operations. Engages in long- and short-range planning with the Chairman and Clinical Administrative Managers to meet research goals. Identifies space and equipment for existing and new faculty. Provides input to the Clinical Administrative Managers on the annual budget for research. Meets with faculty candidates to show available laboratory facilities and equipment, both within and outside the Department of Internal Medicine. Provides advice, assistance or training to other investigators and research personnel in the department as a means of facilitating achievement of research goals and objectives.
