Medical Assistant (MED AST 2)Job Summary Under general supervision, provide first level, non-licensed support for medical provider(s) to assist with clinical and administrative support as directed. Obtain vital signs and brief medical history, assist with medical examinations and procedures, make appropriate documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR), maintain supplies/equipment, clean exam rooms and sterilize equipment. Provide front office support, register patients, and schedule appointments per Occupational Health Services procedure. Complete necessary paperwork and scheduling requirements for clinic appointments.
