The Department of Geology and Geophysics in the College of Arts and Sciences at Texas A&M University is seeking applications for a full-time, 9-month tenure-track Assistant Professor in Environmental Geoscience to address grand challenges in Climate Change, Water Scarcity and Quality, GeoHealth, and/or the Energy Transition from a geological perspective.  We welcome theoretical, laboratory, field, and/or system-level approaches to address one or more grand challenges in disciplines that complement existing research strengths of the Department. This position will expand on our recent hiring and strengthen our department’s capacities to initiate investigations that provide process-level knowledge within environmental geosciences to address these challenges.
