The Division of Comparative Medicine supports cutting-edge biomedical research at the Washington University School of Medicine. Our growing campus has over ten animal facilities holding a wide variety of species. The successful candidate will manage one of our largest buildings, a multi-floor facility housing over 15,000 cages of rodents, seven covered species, biohazard and quarantine facilities, and over fifty staff members.  This position provides direct supervision of supervisory personnel; ensures standard operating procedures are current and accurate and that occupational safety procedures are observed; recommends personnel actions to include hiring, training, promotion, and discipline; and may have responsibility for facilities management and planning.  Pos
