1. Manage the Occupational Health Department, including staff supervision, hiring, clinical operations, budgeting, and interfacing with internal and external stakeholders as needed. 2.  Lead such initiatives as needed to support operational and strategic goals of Occupational Health, including early identification, mitigation, and control of hazards; reduction of occupational injuries, illnesses, and workers' compensation costs; improvement of employee well-being and resilience; improvement of employee knowledge of workplace hazards and prevention strategies; implementation of data collection and analysis to identify and evaluate the effectiveness of programs and targets for improvement; adherence to all applicable occupational health and safety laws and standards.3.  Function as the primary business owner of employee-related functionality in Health On Track, Yale's enterprise system for tracking health requirements for employees and students.  Partner actively with the Health On Track technical team and campus stakeholders on strategies and workflows to improve efficiency and employee experience interacting with Health on Track.4.  Provide direct clinical support for occupational health as needed to support operations.5.  Provide clinical expertise supporting university readiness for outbreaks and surges of vaccine-preventable illness.  Ensure capacity to identify unvaccinated/exempted individuals in the event of an epidemic, administer prophylactic medications, provide pop-up vaccine access, and assist with strategies for contact tracking when needed.6.  Lead clinical operations for the annual Yale Flu and COVID Vaccine Programs and other mass vaccination programs that may be indicated in response to campus outbreaks.  Responsible for all aspects of vaccine clinic operations, including safe and efficient vaccine administration, identifying venues, scheduling systems, hiring, training, and managing temporary clinical and non-clinical staff.7.  Develop and update clinical policies, procedures, and SOPs related to Occupational Health and Campus Health as needed, including campus infectious disease outbreaks and response.8.  Other responsibilities as may be determined. 

Required Skill/ability 1:  

Demonstrated leadership ability and management experience. Five years of management and/or leadership experience. Demonstrated experience and expertise in data management and information systems.
