Description: This position is primarily responsible to operate, maintain, coordinate the repair and upgrade of the University's fire alarms, sprinkler, fire extinguishers, life safety and hood systems. This position also performs building inspections and construction monitoring of all new and renovated building construction on campus.The position must effectively communicate regulations in a concise and accurate manner, completes duties in a responsible manner, establishes and recommends procedural changes to ensure safety standards and methods are applied, and determines corrective actions when unsafe conditions are identified.
