Our Telomere Lab studies the genetic basis of disease with a focus on disorders caused by telomere dysfunction including cancer. The research includes handling samples from human subjects participating in a long-standing research study as well as cellular and animal models of the diseases we study. We are seeking a Research Specialist who will have the opportunity to receive mentorship and work as part of a vibrant research team. In addition, career academic advancement opportunities are available through this position.  Will be responsible for oversight and training of more junior technicians and will participate in specimen processing and performing established laboratory assays with the supervision of the faculty investigator.
