SDG Counties is currently accepting applications for the full-time position of Community Planner (Environment and Policy).  Reporting to the Director of Planning and Economic Development Services, the Community Planner is responsible for processing and managing planning and development-related applications submitted under the Planning Act, the preparation of development agreements and by-laws, providing interpretation and analysis of provincial, county, and local planning documents and policies, responding to requests for planning information, reviewing/commenting on site plan applications, in addition to providing general operational support to the department.   Main duties include but are not limited to: Develop and implemen
