Job Title: Integrations and Solutions Developer

Salary Range:$91,400 - $118,700
General purpose: The Integrations and Web Developer designs, builds, implements and supports systems that integrate components of web and the colleges enterprise systems.
Summary of Essential Functions:
Development, configuration, and test, support of integrations, web services and data transfer between MICAs internal and external systems and platforms.
Develop and write clean, efficient, and maintainable code to implement integrations using appropriate programming languages and technologies.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, architects, project managers, and business analysts, to deliver integrated solutions.
Develop new solutions, systems and interfaces that connect data and informationand contributing to the overall development process.applications to the MICA web environment. This includes writing code for custom applications
Participate in the full software development life-cycle, including analysis, design, development, and testing of web-enabled applications using a combination of Java, HTML, ColdFusion, and JavaScript.
Responsible for developing and maintaining front-end features of various websites and applications, including: designing website elements, wire framing of designs and programming of all features.
Build and maintain collaborative relationships within Technology Systems and Services and with other key business units including MICAs Office of Communications and Academic Services divisions
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Establish standards for web and application integrations
Architect integration solutions within MICAs enterprise systems and with third partybusiness applications
Gather requirements, build and support applications that help automate and integrateinformation processes and systems
Extend and support user provisioning and authentication systems
Providing technical expertise in the implementation and support of network and serverresources
Recommend strategies for integrations which improve business processes
Serve as an Enterprise Business Analyst to support business process, reporting andintegrations
Participate in planning and evaluation of new and improved technology systems
Recommend policies and procedures for application standards, security and web usage
Consult with internal and external resources to identify ways to improve existing or developnew technologies
Serve as technical liaison with vendors
Monitor, upgrade and maintain platforms which support identity management and webdevelopment
Produce technical documentation for interfaces, procedures and applications
Provide technical and functional support to web developers and application owners aroundcampus
Define and document business processes, data maps, and partner with end users on developingrequirements, functionality, and solutions.
Collaborate with functional and technical stakeholders to optimize business processes.
Actively pursue innovative initiatives and improvements in current processes.
Perform other related duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Knowledge of Cold Fusion, Javascript, Active Directory and SQL; database and applicationdesign methodologies; multiple operating systems and server platforms; virtual serverenvironments; good working knowledge of Microsoft products including .NET, SQL Serverand IIS; experience using enterprise applications
Knowledge of generally accepted documentation methods. Thorough knowledge ofPC/MAC-based web browsers and related tools
Expert knowledge in Object Oriented Principles and Design Patterns
Experience with relational database development and design in Microsoft SQL Server
Exceptional knowledge of web user interface best practices
Skills:strong analytical and problem solving skills; excellent communication skills;orientation toward systems architecture and organization; understanding of userexperience based systems development
Ability to: work well in a team environment; self-motivated and able to prioritize and meetdeadlines; deliver exceptional customer service; learn quickly and thrive in a constantlychanging systems environment; conceptualize user experience and data flows acrossmultiple platforms
Minimum qualifications:
Bachelors degree Information Technology or related field
Experience:3-5 years of systems development experience
Preferred qualifications:
Experience with technology in higher education
Experience with SAML protocol (Shibboleth preferred)
Experience with Oracle PeopleSoft application, Workday and technology
Familiarity with Git version control
Expertise in n-tiered web architectures, SOA and related technologies (XML, SOAP, REST,JSON, etc.)
