As an Occupational Health Professional you will attend to the occupational and medical concerns of Valero employees.

Provide clinical emergency medical treatment for occupational injury or illness. Provide clinical emergency care for non-occupational injury or illness. Perform follow up care/treatment for occupational injury or illness. Obtain and maintain accurate and complete medical records on employees. Ensure the infirmary, medical equipment, and supplies are maintained and ready for use at all times. Administer immunizations. Perform case management of work related and non-work related injuries and illnesses. Perform Audiometric testing. Coordinate drug and alcohol testing (post incident and for-cause). Administer company policy in regards to drug and alcohol testing.
This position is salaried exempt status, which means you are not eligible for overtime pay.
Minimum Requirements: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing. 3 years of clinical and/or occupational nursing experience. Registered Nurse designation. Able and willing to work on-site, in-person at the Valero Three Rivers Refinery. Flexibility to provide medical support afterhours, for unexpected events or planned outages, via phone or in-person.
Preferred Requirements: Certified Audiometric Testing. Certified Occupation Health Nurse (COHN).
