The Department of Chemical & Biomolecular Engineering at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln is a dynamic, research-driven community advancing innovations across biomolecular engineering, nanotechnology, biotechnology, and molecular medicine. As the Lab Manager, you will:
As the Lab Manager, you will:
- Ensure that the teaching and research labs in the Department of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering meet the needs of the department, faculty, staff, and students.
- Assist with the design, fabrication, maintenance and repair of laboratory devices.
- Coordinate with Environmental Health and Safety and OSHA to ensure compliance with all safety requirements and eliminate safety hazards.

Minimum Required Qualifications:
Associate's degree plus 1 year of equipment maintenance and/or fabrication of devices/equipment; or equivalent education/experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
The ideal candidate may have Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. Familiar with safety guidelines desirable.
Posted Salary: $23.88/hr minimum
